Key Information

Harcourt Primary School was rated as a Good school by OFSTED when they last visited the school in October 2021. During the visit they recognised many strengths within our school

At Harcourt Primary School, pupils are valued as individuals, and we place great emphasis on an holistic approach to education and on teaching the whole child. The learning opportunities we provide are age-appropriate and challenging-within a calm and focused learning environment.  We encourage all children to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners.

We are committed to working closely with parents and carers and the local community to promote and provide family learning opportunities and social activities.  Many families take advantage of the numerous formal and informal occasions on offer, thus enhancing the home-school relationship.

“Pupils are happy to come to Harcourt School. They enjoy learning in a calm and purposeful atmosphere without fear of bullying or discrimination. Pupils are polite and friendly and happy to give each other a helping hand.”
